John Willard Schwoch, 71, 814 Mill St. and a retired employe of Standard Brands Inc. of Indianapolis died at 5:15 a.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital. He had been ill for only a short time. Schwoch was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and an Indianapolis Masonic Lodge. He was born on Oct. 17, 1895, in Newark, Ohio. He was married to Jeanette Townsend on Jan. 1, 19…….. in Crawfordsville. She died in September, 1964. Surviving him are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Grace Cunningham and Mrs. Lois Davidson, both of Crawfordsville; two stepsons, Donnie Lee Townsend of Cincinnati and Marvin Keith of Crawfordsville and 11 step-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Hubble officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
